About the Manglis Group

One of the oldest companies in Cyprus — developer of
Archangelos and parent of the Aliada brand.

The oldest company in the Manglis Group, the Cyprus Commercial Co. Ltd, was registered in 1934, and was only the 61st company registered in Cyprus. It engaged mainly in trade, but in the years that followed several companies were added for new activities including property development, trade, agricultural production, packing and export marketing with a fruit brokerage/distribution subsidiary in London, shipping in partnership with Greek and Kuwait interests, and telecommunications in the Russian Federation and in Cyprus.

The Group became a major land developer in 1973 when it started the planning and construction of a new city for 10,000 people in Archangelos, a new suburb of Nicosia. Manglis Group acquired an area of approximately 2.2 million m² and has successfully turned it into a modern community. Today the completed project consists of over 2,500 residential building sites, three primary and two secondary schools, two large sites for commercial services, over 40 km of road network, and 180,000 m² of landscaped public green spaces. The community houses 2,500 families.

In partnership with other investors, Manglis Group has also developed extensive land areas in the seaside towns of Yeroskipou and Paphos, creating the “Limnaria” holiday homes and shopping complex, as well as residential building sites.

Other development projects, under the trading name of Aliada, include the building of quality detached houses in Archangelos, an organised development of luxury villas in the Eleonon area of Nicosia, and the construction of spacious apartments throughout the capital. The Group is one of the largest owners in Nicosia and surrounding areas, and all of the land has title deeds.

The Group has a reputation in the market for executing honest and transparent transactions, delivering high quality properties within the agreed time and specification. The Group is committed to always deliver value for money, and is dedicated to providing professional service to all of its clients.

The Group is a member of the Cyprus Land and Building Development Association.
